Privacy Policy
Last updated 25 August 2026. This policy explains what personal and health information this clinic collects through laserproctology.ae, why, how it is protected and what rights you have over it.
1. Who we are
The practice of Dr Kerim Erdem Ulucay, a Dubai Health Authority-licensed Specialist General & Laparoscopic Surgeon (DHA Unique ID 00153417), operating at Swift Day Surgical Center (Jumeirah) and Armada Surgical Center / Armada Medical Centre (JLT), Dubai, United Arab Emirates — each licensed by the Dubai Health Authority. 2. What we collect
- Enquiry data you submit through the booking form or WhatsApp: name, mobile number, email, preferred appointment time, the concern you select, and anything you choose to write in the notes field.
- Health information you volunteer in an enquiry, and clinical records created if you become a patient. Health data is treated as sensitive personal data and attracts the highest level of protection.
- Insurance details where you ask us to seek pre-approval on your behalf.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring source, collected through analytics only where you have consented.
3. Why we use it
To respond to your enquiry and arrange care; to provide medical treatment and maintain the clinical record required by law; to seek insurance pre-approval at your request; to meet DHA regulatory and record-keeping obligations; and — only with your consent — to understand website performance.
4. What we never do
- We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not disclose your attendance or diagnosis to your employer, sponsor or family without your written consent, except where disclosure is required by UAE law.
- We do not use your clinical information in marketing, and we do not publish any patient account without separate documented written consent that you may withdraw at any time.
5. Who we share it with
Only where necessary: the licensed facility where your procedure takes place; your treating anaesthetist; your insurer, where you have asked us to claim; laboratory and imaging providers involved in your care; our IT and hosting providers under contractual confidentiality obligations; and regulators or courts where UAE law requires it.
6. Security and retention
Data is transmitted over TLS, access is restricted to staff who need it, and clinical records are retained for the period required by DHA regulation. Enquiry data from people who do not become patients is deleted once the enquiry is closed and any applicable retention period has passed.
7. Your rights
Subject to UAE law you may request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion where no legal retention obligation applies, restriction of certain processing, a copy of your data in portable form, and withdrawal of consent for anything based on consent — including analytics and any published testimonial. 8. Cookies
Essential cookies keep the site functioning. Analytics and marketing cookies are set only after you accept them in the consent banner, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time.
9. Children
This website is not directed at children under 18. Patients under 18 are seen only with a parent or legal guardian present and consenting.
10. Changes
Material changes to this policy will be posted here with a revised date.
